Services resumed at Holy Trinity in a limited capacity on Sunday 19th July. There will be a limited number of spaces available each week and booking will be required on Saturdays, the day before the service. This is necessary so as to control the numbers so that we can minimize risk for all church goers and comply with the Government's directive. Here’s some answers to questions you might have.
We are limited to 48 people altogether, based on 2 metre social distancing, as recommended. In the newssheet, there are details of how to book in! Sorry, but this is how it has to be.
Much will be familiar! We’ll be together but a bit apart; the shape of the service will be recognizable, with significant changes. We’ll share the peace – differently. We’ll listen to lovely music, but won’t be able to sing.
Standing, by the altar, with bread but not wine. The bread will be covered as the priest recites the Eucharistic prayer and will wear a face covering to protect everyone when sharing the Body of Christ.
Sadly no, for the time being.
Yes. Please use sanitizer supplied and respect social distancing.
They are very welcome. We’ll be relying on accompanying adults to help keep them safe. They can bring their own toys and we’ll provide some activity packs – just for them but there will be no general toys and books available.
It would be helpful if you could complete this online questionnaire, indicating your thoughts about returning to church.

You might like to say your prayers at home with us. If you have a smart phone, you can download the CofE Daily Prayer App. We are still here for you, so please don’t feel like you are alone. Prayer requests are welcomed via email too.
The Parish Office is open, but we would please request that you not turn up in person until further notice. If you need to speak to the Clergy urgently, please contact: Revd Sally Davenport on 07500 775926 or email.
We intend to keep this website updated, so please check back regularly.
We wish to extend a very warm welcome to everyone who’s visiting our website. Whether this is for the first time, you’re just having a look, or are searching out for a place to worship, we’re delighted you’ve found us.
We are a friendly Church of England parish located in Fareham, Hampshire, and while we don’t make any claims to be perfect, we are regularly discovering truths that are changing us individually and enriching our lives as a church community.
We would like to share our experiences with you and extend a personal invitation to all.
